Offered here is a 2008 New York Yankees road uniform worn by former Bronx Bomber Johnny Damon. This grey button-down Yankees jersey reads “NEW YORK” across the chest in navy blue, while Damon’s #18 can be found on the back in matching style. As is Yankee tradition, there is no name on the back of the jersey. On the right sleeve is a patch reading “Major League Baseball * All-Star Game * N.Y.C. 2008”. The left sleeve bears a 2nd patch depicting the Yankee Stadium façade, reading “1923-2008 * Yankee Stadium”. The “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s label is tagged on the front lower left tail, accompanied by two tags that read “2008” and “48”. Also included is a pair of solid grey uniform pants. The Manufacturer’s tag is found on the interior waistband next to a patch that reads “42 Damon 34-42 35 0B08”. Entire uniform shows moderate game use, with the pants marked with a significant dirt stain on the left leg. Both jersey and pants are tagged with separate Steiner Authentication Hologram stickers, and each piece is also accompanied by an individual Steiner LOA.
