This 2009 NY Mets Throwback Uniform was game worn by Francisco Rodriguez on August 16, at Citi Field in Queens, NY. The Mets, hosting the San Francisco Giants, came away with a 3-2 victory. K*Rod was awarded the win after striking out the side in a scoreless 9th inning. The jersey is off-white, button-down mesh with a large N on the right breast and an equally large Y on the left breast. The collar and sleeves are trimmed with orange and blue stripes, and the Majestic manufacturer’s tag is found on the front left tail, denoting size 48. A Mr. Met patch adorns the right sleeve; while on the back is a simple 75 in blue. The pants are the same off-white with blue stripes down each leg. Inside the waist band is the Majestic tag, next to a strip patch reading “75 Rodriguez 38-44 37 OB C 1990”. Both jersey and pants show moderate wear, and come with an MLB Authentication Hologram: #LH654899 for the jersey and # LH654957 for the pants. Also included is a team issued COA for the game used pants.
