Considering he was a 6th round pick in the 2003 Amateur draft, Matt Kemp has carved out a nice career for himself in Major League Baseball. Kemp enjoyed 9 seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers, during which he batted .292 with 182 home runs and 170 stolen bases. He enjoyed his finest season with LA in 2011, when he batted .324, stole 40 bases, and led the National League with 39 Home Runs and 126 RBI, falling just 1 home run shy of the 40-40 club. Now with the San Diego Padres, Kemp is enjoying a career resurgence, and at just 31 years old he’s still got a lot of baseball left in him.
This 2013 game used Los Angeles Dodgers Home Jersey, #27, was worn by Kemp on May 24th, at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA. The Dodgers lost to the St. Louis Cardinals 7-0, with Kemp going 0-3 at the plate. The jersey is white with the classic Dodgers logo across the front, and the interlocking LA on the left sleeve. There is some yellowing to jersey and game usage shows. Item comes only with MLB Hologram Authentication sticker #EK223954 on front of the jersey, located on the lower left MLB Majestic patch.
