The clean, off-white ball's surface exhibits a minimum of wear from handling, and the inscription, "1957," has been carefully penned on the reverse sweet spot. Its signatures, rendered in blue ballpoint, include: Berra and Mantle (together on the sweet spot), plus Coleman, Bauer, Howard, Grim, Larsen, Skowron, Cicotte, Kubek, Turley, Sturdivant, Shantz, Johnson, Richardson, Ditmar, Slaughter, Byrne, Kucks and Collins.
