It's hard to picture it, but back in 1987 Barry Bonds was a lead-off hitter with the speed of a greyhound. That summer, his second in the majors, Bonds stole 32 bases and hit 27 homers, adding the spark needed to turn the Pirates into a pennant contender. The Rawlings 421B model bat is un-cracked and shows light use. Bonds' number "24" is found on the bat's knob end. A great early gamer from the first phase of Bonds’ long career. Letter of Authenticity (1B06508) from PSA/DNA.
