Encapsulated and assessed by PSA/DNA, with signature graded MINT 9. The Georgia Peach used his trademark green ink to fill out and sign this personal check. The official instrument was drawn on Cobb's account at the First National Bank of Nevada (Reno) on September 19, 1955. The Hall of Famer's full name is printed in block letters along the left border, and a large, "Tyrus R. Cobb" scripting with paraph is situated on the appropriate line. This attractive exemplar – with all writing on the front rendered in Cobb’s hand – exhibits very satisfactory display properties with standard bank stampings, cancellations and punchings. There are no punch-marks affecting Cobb's highly desirable signature, although these and vertical fold-lines touch other portions of his handwriting.
