Pro Stock Model Bats were ordered by a ball club to have on hand for their players to use when they wanted to swing something different, try another style bat or ran out of their own models. Joe Cronin was one of the AL's most fear hitters of the 1930's so it is only natural that a ball club would want a number of his bats around for their player's use.
The Cronin signature professional model Hillerich & Bradsby C117 model bat displays heavy use and has been cracked. A great bat that let other big leaguers swing the type of bat that made Cronin a Hall of Famer.
