There isn't many DH's in baseball today more feared than David Ortiz. Big Papi used this Marucci during the September 20, 2014 game against Baltimore at Camden Yards. In the top of the 8th Ortiz faced Brad Branch and hit a broken bat fly out. The Marucci DO34 bat shows great game use and has the afore mentioned cracked handle. The barrel has many ball marks with white leather ball scuff, one of which being the September 20th fly out. The handle has a moderate coat of pine tar and the lower portion has a spiral wrap of bright yellow adhesive tape to enhance the grip. The knob end has Ortiz's number "34" on a custom sticker. Boston's DH has signed the barrel in silver pen adding his number "34". Letter of Authenticity from MLB (EK314496) and PSA/DNA (1B06564).
