Ironman Cal Ripken’s historic consecutive games streak of 2,632 ended on September 20, 1998 at Camden Yards and offered are 240 editions of the Baltimore Sun newspaper dated September 21, 1998 with the headline “Ripken ends The Streak”. The front page of the newspaper shows a full color image of Ripken holding his hands up to the Camden Yards crowd from the top of the Orioles dugout and at the top of the page is a quote from Ripken “I thought about it and decided let’s end it in the same place it started. In my home state. In front of the best fans in the world.”. Due to the size and weight of this lot, shipping costs may be higher than normal.
