After the 2013 season, during which he batted .315 with 27 home runs and 107 RBI, Robinson Cano was a highly coveted FA. As history will show, the Mariners enticed Cano to leave the Big Apple for the Pacific Northwest, but that can’t erase that last, great 2013 campaign. This pinstripe button-down, game-used Yankees home jersey, #24, was game worn by Robinson Cano on September 25, 2013. The Yankees hosted the Tampa Bay Rays that night, Cano’s penultimate home game as a Yankee, and while his stat line was impressive enough – 2-4, 106th RBI, 40th double – the Yankees would lose the game 8-3. The iconic interlocking NY logo adorns the upper right chest, while Cano’s number “24” can be found on the back, in matching style. The jersey shows moderate game use, with a dirt stain on the back of the left shoulder. The front of the jersey appears to have a drip stain between the 2nd and 3rd button, along with a “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s label on the lower left, accompanied by three tags that read “2013,” “48” and “Taper.” A NY Yankees inventory label below the manufacturer’s tag reads “0000003822.” The left sleeve bears a patch that reads “Mariano Rivera * New York Yankees * 1995-2013” commemorating Mo’s final season. The jersey comes with a Steiner LOA, and includes an MLB Authentication Hologram Sticker, #EK809535.
