Measuring 6x6x24, this heavy duty pitcher’s rubber resided in the home bullpen at Yankee Stadium in June of 2008. Mariano Rivera, known as the Sandman because when he entered the game, it was lights out, warmed up on this pitching rubber prior to career saves #462 (6/18), #463 (6/19) and #464 (6/22). A magnificent piece of Yankee history from the final season at Old Yankee Stadium, Mo has signed this pitcher’s rubber with a large, sweeping autograph in black marker. Beneath his signature, Rivera has inscribed “ENTER SANDMAN * SAVES #462, 463, 464”. Across the back of the rubber is a piece of masking tape, inscribed in an unknown hand “6/17 – 6/22 Home Bullpen”. Pitcher’s rubber shows heavy game usage, and is tagged with MLB Authentication hologram # LH008880, as well as a Steiner Game Used Hologram#74160 and Steiner LOA
