In his 10th and final World Series with the New York Yankees in 2009 Derek Jeter hit .407 with 11 hits in 27 at-bats leading the Bronx Bombers to the team’s 26th Major League championship by defeating the Philadelphia Phillies in six games. Jeter signed this MLB Authentic (LH733135) 2009 Alan H Selig Official World Series ball in blue ball point pen on a side panel beneath the MLB 2009 World Series logo. The ball displays excellent evidence of game use with at least one bat label scuff mark and dirt clogs in the seams. It was removed from play after an infield hit by Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins in the 9th inning.
