Her signature, “Greta Garbo,” accomplished on a top of a 6.75” x 2.75” $20 American Express Traveler’s Cheque, n.p.., nd ., but New York, c. 1960. Perfect Condition.
According to her grand-niece, Greta Garbo used American Express Travelers Checks when traveling. In the 1970s she was offered a million dollars to appear in the iconic American Express Advertising campaign, “Do you know me?” She declined.
