Offered is a superlative signed studio portrait of Walt Disney (1901-1966). Despite being one of the best-known personalities of the last century and the founder of the most successful entertainment company in history, Walt Disney's signature is persistently difficult to obtain. For several decades, the gifted cartoonist – and creator of Mickey Mouse – routinely asked his animators to provide signed responses in answering his mail, and he also prevailed upon them to sign photographs and animation cels in his behalf. The black-and-white studio portrait presented here is a magnificent exception, however, as it has been personally scripted by Disney, himself. The photograph carries the artistically rendered name, "Walt Disney." HUGE UNINSCRIBED and perfectly placed autograph- boldly penned in Disney’s trademark flowing style, the black-ink signature projects robustly from the photos bottom half. This is a magnificent display piece, and it is without question one of the finest Walt Disney signed photos in existence. Double-matted and framed. This item comes with a PSA/DNA letter of authenticity.
