In 1984, Michael Jackson toured North America with his 5 brothers to support the Jackson’s album Victory. At the time, Michael’s solo album Thriller was still dominating the charts, and several of his solo tracks were part of the set list. This black fedora is the hat M.J. wore on stage during rehearsals. Item is black felt with a black ribbon and the interior of the hat is lined in white silk, with a large letter G above the words Guerra 1855 * Made Exclusively for Worth & Worth* Handmade in Italy. Interior light brown leather hatband is stamped “Worth & Worth” on one side, “Made Exclusively for Michael Jackson” on the other. Hat comes in a 14” round cardboard white hatbox with white ribbon. Item is in very good condition. This hat was given to the original owner by Michael Jackson himself on August 4, 1984 at Madison Square Garden and comes with a Letter of Provenance from the original owner.
