Graded 96 MINT 9 by SGC. Hall of Famer. This is one of two examples at its tier (with none graded higher) among a total of sixty-three copies recorded in SGC's census reporting. A vividly printed, photographic likeness of the Hall of Famer graces the card front of this approximately 2-7/8" x 3-7/8", blank-backed collectible. The very scarce item, originally released as part of a three-card panel, showcases Ruth's depiction on a wondrously large cardboard canvas cut in such a manner that satisfying borders remain intact all around. The collectible boasts well-preserved surfaces and features a visually engaging, nicely focused image. A scarce and impressive, career-contemporary Ruth memento, in elite Mint condition.
