Among a total of more than 1,800 copies recorded in PSA’s census reporting, barely one percent of the holdered examples have attained this tier and just a single specimen has been graded higher. This is one of the most beautiful gum cards ever produced, and it's seen here in the ultimate state of preservation. Its image of Mickey Mantle is familiar and beloved, and the depiction is presented with outstanding resolution and pristine character on this superb specimen. The card's corners, edges, centering and colors adhere to a standard that can only be described as "ideal," and its shimmering layer of original gloss delivers a truly like-new appearance.
