It was the year of Joe DiMaggio's death and David Cone's Perfect Game. It was the Yanks' second straight World Series sweep—a franchise feat previously accomplished only by the Ruth-led and DiMaggio-led clubs of the late 1920s and late 1930s. It was a Fall Classic highlighted by Chad Curtis' Game 3 walk-off homer. For these and other reasons, the last Bronx Bomber season of the millennium was one for the ages and Yankee items from that season have remained popular with collectors ever since.

This Balfour 14K-gold (similar to player rings) championship staffer ring is encrusted with a dazzling array of 97 authentic diamonds carrying an approximately a 1.0 carat weight. The ring is a massive size 13 and weighs 47 grams overall. A raised "NY" insignia dominates the face, while the exquisitely designed right shank displays the employee's name "Sullivan," a design highlighting the World Series Trophy and the number "25" (referencing the club's 25th World Championship) set in the midst of a representation of Yankee Stadium, and the word ‘TRADITION’ that applies to the Yankees like no other franchise. The left shank is equally captivating and features the name ‘Yankees’ capped with the familiar "Top Hat" insignia as well as a banner that reads "The Century's Team," a portion of the renowned Yankee Stadium facade, and the words "25th World Championship."

This is a rare chance to own an authentic 14K-gold 1999 Yankees championship ring as most modern-era World Series rings are kept by highly paid ballplayers who have no economic motivation to sell them. NM condition.
