Steve Hamilton, best known for his "Folly Floater" pitch, spent eight seasons with the Bronx Bombers and made World Series appearances in 1963 and 1964. This 1965 gray, button-down flannel game used road jersey features "NEW YORK" across the chest and Hamilton's number "39" on the back, all in the Yankees' trademark navy blue. The front left tail of the jersey has "65" written in faded black ink, signifying the year. The inside collar has a green stitched "MacGregor" size 44 manufacturer's tag, and a white strip tag appears below with Hamilton's number "39" stitched in red. The jersey exhibits evidence of light game use, and is mostly all original save for two white replacement buttons. Full LOA from Dave Miedema, noted sports jersey expert.
