Ali and Frazier will be forever remembered as being one of the greatest rivalries in boxing history. Facing off in the Ring 3 separate times the hard nose, blue collar Joe Frazier won the decision in their first fight in Madison Square Garden on March 8th, 1971. The flamboyant Muhammad Ali secured the next two fights with a 12 round decision in the second match up and a KO in the “Thrilla in Manila”, their third and final meeting on October 1st, 1975. This historic fight poster from their first fight, on 3/8/71 measures 22”x14” and is hand signed by both Ali and Frazier. Printed on heavy cardboard stock, Ali’s name is listed on the poster as “Muhammad Ali /A.K.A Cassius Clay”. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
