Honus Wagner was the premiere National League player of his day, and one of the greatest players of all time. It was likely right after a tremendously great game, or maybe even the World Series win over the Detroit Tigers in 1909 which caused Wagner to feel a bit giddy the day he signed this album page, flowing with some good spirits (in and out of his bloodstream). This 5.75 x 3.25 inch album page contains the greatest flowing script "J. Honus Wagner" signature ("9") you will ever encounter! Large, bold, fully scripted full name literally takes over the page, which has been very neatly from its original home. The paper is in great shape with minimal wear, containing a few very small lightly stained areas, mentioned only for complete accuracy. This album "cut" would make the best possible signature for a great Wagner display piece, one which would stand out in a room full of important baseball mementos. Signature has been graded a mint 9 and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
