“Big Game James” helped lead the Lakers to three NBA championships in the 1980s during his Hall of Fame career. The seven-time All-Star was voted on of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History in 1996. This yellow game used Los Angeles Lakers home jersey was worn by James Worthy during a 1991-92 season that saw the forward average 19.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. The jersey features “LAKERS” across the chest, “WORTHY” across the back and his number “42” on both sides in purple-on-white tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with size “44” with an additional stitched tag to the left that reads “YEAR 1991” and “BODY LENGTH +3,” indicating the jersey’s year and size modifications. The jersey shows evidence of light game use and comes with an LOA from D.C. Sports Collectibles.
