The 1986-87 Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA Championship, beating the Boston Celtics 4 games to 2. It was their fifth title since moving from Minneapolis to Los Angeles, which was the theme of this magnificent ring. Presented to a member of the Lakers organization, this ring features five diamonds (signifying their five LA based titles), surrounded by "1987 WORLD CHAMPION LAKERS" on the perimeter. One shank has the name "CORSI", the NBA logo and the years "72 80 82 85". These were the other seasons the Lakers won their prior titles. The other shank has "DRIVE FOR FIVE", the Lakers logo and "LA 4 BOS 2". Engraved inside is "14K JOSTENS", and this solid gold ring is a size 11 and weighs 42 grams.
