Vintage Spalding Official Baseball signed not once, but twice by the game’s greatest pitcher, Cy Young. In a 22-year career, Young established major league records that are still unbroken: most wins (511), innings pitched (7,355), games started (815) and most complete games (749). He won 30 or more games five times and passed the 20 win mark 10 times. No wonder MLB named the annual award for the best pitcher after him. Young, who was named to the Hall of Fame in 1937 and passed away in 1955, has inked the ball at the opposite ends of one panel on this vintage Spalding ball. The baseball has scuff and light dirt marks throughout and has a nice warm aged patina to it. PSA/DNA has graded this unique ball a 6.5 and comes with Letter of Authenticity number Q03381. A great piece of baseball history from the man who holds more records than anyone else in the history of the game.
